SSC GD Constable Recruitment Last Date 30/09/2018 (Extended)
Online applications for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 are currently being received by the Commission with effect from 17-08-2018. The Commission has hosted this application on its new website, and that during the initial few days, there were some teething problems, wherein it was observed that the new website of the Commission was running slow, consequent to which some candidates reported inconvenience in submitting their online application forms. Therefore, keeping in view the difficulties faced by some candidates, the Competent Authority, has, in the overall interest of the candidates, decided to extend the closing date for filling up of online application forms for the said examination from 17-09-2018 to 30-09-2018 (5.00 PM).

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit: The age of the applicant must not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 23 years as on 01 August 2018
Application Fee: A candidate must pay an application fee of Rs. 100/- for SSC GD 2018 Exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying the online application fee. Candidates can pay fee either online through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or through offline mode by generating a challan for the same.
Selection Process:
The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of their performance in the :
a) Computer Based Examination, b) Physical Efficiency Test, c) Physical Standard Test
Computer Based Examination:
The Computer-Based Exam will be of 100 marks. The time of 90 minutes will be given to the candidates. There will be four sections in the examination- GK, Reasoning, Mathematics and English/Hindi.
