Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) is a statutory body formed under an Act of the Parliament. IRDAI invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for filling up the post of Junior Officers through open competition on All India basis for its various offices. Selection will be through a country-wide competitive Phase – I “On-line Examination” followed by Phase –II Descriptive examination at select centres and Interview. Category-wise number of vacancies is as under:

Actuarial: 04 Posts
Qualification: First Class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years), and Pass in Nine papers of Institute of Actuaries.
Accounting: 03 Posts
Qualification: First Class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years), and ACA/AICWA/ACS.
Legal: 02 Posts
Qualification: First Class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years), and LL.B with 60% marks or Five year Integrated LLB Course in First class with 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years.
General: 15 Posts
Qualification: First Class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years).
Application Fee: Application Fees Rs.500/- SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen: Rs 100,
Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
Selection Procedure: IRDA Candidates Selection will be on Written Test & Interview Base.
How to Apply:
Candidates are first required to go to IRDAI website www.irda.gov.in and click on “Employment” and then click on the option “Recruitment for the post of Junior Officer” to open the On-Line Application Form. Candidates will have to click on “Click here for New Registration” link to register their application by entering their basic information in the on-line application form. After that a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent to the registered email. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. Basic information once saved cannot be edited.
