Registrar, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar-388120, invites applications in the prescribed form for the following Administrative Positions to be filled up in accordance with the approval of the Govt. of Gujarat Education Deptt.’s  letter No.SPU/1312/1672/kh-2 dated 21/04/2017

Education Qualification

  • Development Officer:A Master degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale. Five year’s of experience as a lecturer in a college or University with experience in educational administration  Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher Five year’s of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post Twenty year’s of experience of University administration work.
  • Deputy Accountant:A Master’s Degree in Commerce with Accounts as a Special subject with atleast 55% marks / C.A./ I.C.W.A. and experience of about seven years in a responsible capacity in accounts in educational, Government, Industrial organisation or university. (Qualification may be relaxed in case of deserving candidate).
  • Press Manager:A  graduate  with Diploma  Holder  in Printing Technology  and five years  experience in  responsible  capacity  or  as  a  Supervisor  in  a  big  reputed  press  and  should  have knowledge of working system of machines used in Printing work, factory act, labour, and administration of Press, Computer knowledge will be preferred. In  case  of  exceptionally  good  and  experienced  candidates,  the  Educational qualifications may be relaxed.

Pay Salary : The  above  mention  GP  4200  may  be  change.  At  Present  the  Pay  Band  of  Deputy Account  &  Press  Manager  is  PB  9300-34800  with  Grade  of  Rs.4600/-  which  may  be revised by the Government of Gujarat soon.
